Highly Experienced and Professional Dance Teacher with 20 years of teaching experience in India and the UAE. An avid performer of South Indian classical dance forms and a member of the judging panel for various talent shows in the UAE.
Early Training and Achievements:
Began learning various classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, and Folk dance at the age of six (6) under the guidance of Guru Kalamandalam Usnabhanu. During schooling, participated in numerous competitions at Taluk, Sub-district, District, and State levels, winning first place and “A” grade in most of them. Learned and performed Kerala dance forms like Thiruvathirakkali and Oppana, earning numerous awards and accolades.
Advanced Training:
Joined the Kalakshetra Foundation of Fine Arts, Chennai, and completed Diploma in Bharatanatyam with excellent marks. Also studied music at the same institution for a year. Graduated in April 2003 and performed in numerous stage shows alongside various artists from the film fraternity.
Teaching Career:
Before relocating to Dubai in 2006, conducted classes in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, and Folk dance forms in Trissur, Kerala. Possess an illustrious teaching career in UAE which span from 2006 besides managing Sargam Dance and Music Institute LLC since 2017.
